On the bank holiday weekend, 27th & 28th May the Iveston & Satley MCC will be hosting round two of the 2017 Maxxis British Sidecarcross championships at a new track to the sidecar fraternity at Blyth, Northumberland. The track was inspected on 20th April by the clerk of the course and some changes have been agreed to improve the layout On Saturday there will be races for the Nett quad championship and the Nett sidecar championship. Sunday is Nett quads plus Maxxis sidecars.

Currently leading the sidecar championship after round one in Northern Ireland are Gary Moulds / Steve Kirwin on 70 points with defending champions Stuart Brown / Joe Millard and Neil Campbell / Gary Parmenter joint second on 60 points.
